My stay at Amritara Surajgarh Fort was a good experience. The grandeur of the fort combined with modern amenities created a unique atmosphere. While the food was simply amazing and the service was attentive, I had a few concerns about the electrical fittings in my room. Overall, a nice place to visit.

I stayed in a large, clean room with character, and the air conditioning was a nice touch. The bathrooms were spacious and well-appointed, though I did feel uneasy about the safety of the plug sockets.

The staff, especially Mr. Chaki and Sanjay, were incredibly helpful and attentive. They went out of their way to accommodate our needs and even set up a TV in the lobby for a cricket match, which was a nice personal touch.

Situated in a centuries-old fort within a semi-desert area, the location has its charm. However, navigating the maze of alleys to reach the fort can be a bit challenging.

My stay at Amritara Surajgarh Fort had its highlights but also left me wanting more. The grandeur of the fort is striking, and the buffet dinner was truly good, showcasing a variety of delicious Indian dishes. However, the room experience was marred by an unpleasant Naphthalene smell and bedding that didn’t feel comfortable. Overall, I left with mixed feelings about my visit.

Rooms

The room I stayed in was spacious and had character, though it smelled strongly of Naphthalene, which was quite off-putting. The bedding was not very comfortable, and I worried a bit about the safety of the old electrical fittings.
Service

The staff were very polite and accommodating, even setting up a TV for the cricket match we wanted to watch. They seemed genuinely concerned about our comfort during our stay.
Location
5.0
The location of the fort hotel is quite isolated, with not much to see in the immediate area. It’s important to know that it feels more like a haveli than a traditional fort.
Dining

I enjoyed the buffet dinner which offered a great variety of Indian flavors, alongside some Western options for those needing a milder fare. Breakfast was less impressive, served as a standard meal.

The pool was a lovely touch and provided a welcome respite after hot days. However, the ambiance of the hotel felt somewhat lacking in comfort and welcoming vibes.

My stay at Amritara Surajgarh Fort was truly enjoyable, thanks to amazing hospitality and the unique heritage atmosphere. Though the location is somewhat challenging to navigate, I found the beautifully renovated rooms and friendly staff made it worthwhile. I wouldn't call it a 5-star luxury palace, but it definitely has character and charm that added to my experience.
